With 2,200 runners, the 2012 National Police Week 5K was a great success! We raised $67,000 for ODMP and COPS, match last year’s donations. We are already putting plans in place for next year’s race, so stay in shape and get ready to run again during Police Week 2013!
Pictures from this year’s race are posted on the National Police Week 5K Facebook page. We will be adding more in the coming days, and we’d love if you added your own!
MISSION
The National Police Week 5K is an event hosted by the Officer Down Memorial Page (ODMP) to honor fallen law enforcement officers by raising awareness to the sacrifices officers make every day. The event raises money to support ODMP programs like No Parole for Cop Killers, Line of Duty Death Notifications, Survivor Benefits Database, and research to uncover the stories of forgotten heroes. Funds are also donated to Concerns of Police Survivors to support important programs that assist survivors after the loss of a loved one.
